Mikenna~2nd Place 6th Grade Girl~Reindeer Fun Run!

Mikenna participated in her middle school's Reindeer Fun Run.  She placed 2nd out of all of the 6th grade girls.  She received a movie gift card and a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer stuffed animal and a certificate.  She left for school this morning saying she was going to place and get some prizes....sure enough she came home all smiles!

Jaron~1st Hour Seminary!

Jaron with his 1st hour Seminary class.  I am grateful Jaron gets to start his day off with Seminary.  He has Seminary as part of his regular school day schedule and has it first period.  There are four students in the class from our ward.

Brielle Basketball!

Brielle started her first year of basketball today.  She will play with 3 friends she knows from her class in school and a couple from our church.  Her first practice went great! She is a pretty good dribbler and can shoot the basketball into a regular height hoop.  She will play Jan. Feb. and a couple weeks in March with a a game every Saturday and practice twice a week.  She is excited to play this winter!

We took Toby to Fujiyama's for his birthday!  We all sang happy birthday to him and he had a special piece of cake with a candle to blow out!  I think we embarrassed him singing to him in the restaurant....mission accomplished!  :)

We spent New Year's morning with my parents in Moses Lake.  We made our traditional Aebleskiver Danish Donuts!  Yummy!!
