Toby was doing Brielle's hair this morning the best he could....and after he was done Brielle ran to the mirror to check to see how he did. She said "You've got to be kidding me." "Dad, you have to make my hair pretty like a princess." Toby and I both started laughing. She is definitely Toby's princess...he said...I am not going to survive raising her...she is already into shoes, clothes, how she looks....loves to sing and dance and has an opinion about everything -knows what she likes and dislikes and is not afraid to share her feelings about what she thinks. All of those traits are wonderful traits, and we are grateful she has them...she will need them in this world to get along in it and to accomplish her goals. We love that she is sassy and sticks up for herself. She may be a little hard on Toby's wallet and sometimes pride...but he wouldn't have it any other way. There will be many more moments I am sure between him and his princess...and the time will go quickly. Someday Brielle will realize how lucky she is to have Toby as her daddy. No man works harder, loves stronger, sacrifices more, than her daddy. My girls have an amazing example of what a father and husband and friend should be. I am grateful for him and what an amazing father he is to our children....grateful even more for the wonderful example he is to our girls...for they will someday try and find someone like their dad to spend the rest of their lives with. They have a job ahead of them to find someone as amazing as their daddy.
