The start......Jaron had an awesome start!! Jaron had a meet at Park Middle School in Kennewick today. His time was 12:52 and he placed 5th out of 36 ~ 8th grade boys. He kept a pretty fast pace the whole race - he was in 3rd place for most of the race - and maybe went out a little too fast to begin with - but he was able to hold on to 5th place. He ran a very strong race!

He left it all on the course! It was very hot and humid! He stretched out after the race - and then found some shade to sit and rehydrate himself - he told me he thought he had 3rd place - and then said he went out a little too fast - or he thought he would have been able to keep in 3rd - instead of drop to 5th - but over all he was happy with how he raced. He improved his time!
Good job buddy! We are proud of you!
