Mikenna's last soccer game of the Fall season was today. There are no pictures of the game - because it was down pouring snow big time....and it would have ruined my camera. These are pic's from after her game a couple weeks ago. She played awesome defense! We lost 1-2. It was quite interesting watching her and her team play soccer in the snow! The girls loved it....Mikenna said she loves playing in the snow and rain. We are all ready for a little break from soccer. We have a bunch of family activities planned for Thanksgiving break already! We let each of our children pick an activity to do during the break. We are excited to not have to be anywhere but here!!!!! This fall was crazy busy - it was fun for sure, but we are ready for a little down time. Stay tuned....we will be posting about our fun activities as a family!
After Thanksgiving, Mikenna has signed up for a FAST program. It concentrates on speed training, agility, etc. She will do that two times a week for a month inside a gym. She is always doing some personal training sessions with her coach through the winter to continue on improving through the off season. They will start practicing as a team again sometime in January. She is also going to do basketball starting in January. She loves to be busy...and tends to get down when she isn't doing something athletic. The team record for the fall season ended up being.....6 wins, 4 loses, 1 tie. She will play in the Blue Mountain Exchange Tournament in February, State Cup, and then a tournament in Boise ID and then try-outs are in May for U12 Girls.
We are so proud you Mikenna! You worked so hard, had fun, and played your heart out!
