Mikenna played great in the Blue Mountain Exchange Tournament! It was very cold and windy! 50 mile per hour winds with 70mph wind gusts - 2 early morning games at 8:00am. She played 2 games Saturday and 1 game Sunday. First game was against a Portland, Oregon team - it was a really close game - they lost 2-3. The second game they played another Oregon team - they ended up losing that game as well - we had 3 key girls on our team missing from that game so that game was tough to win being short 3 girls. The game on Sunday they won 5-0. All in all a good experience - just Freezing!! The girls handled it well and played their hearts out! Mikenna was consistent with her defense and played a lot in all of the games. This week she has a league RCL soccer game and also her last basketball game is Saturday as well.
