The results are in.....1,354 total runners. Jaron time: 22:37 - Mikenna time: 27:46.
Jaron in age group 13-19yrs. placed 20th out of 71. He placed 68th out of 1,354 runners overall.
Mikenna in age group 0-12yrs. placed 8th out of 43. She placed 304th out of 1,354 runners overall.
Toby accomplished his goal and beat his last year time by 4 minutes. I am proud of them!!
Mikenna and her friend....they both placed in the top 10 in their age group. FAST training is paying off twice a week! I was able to get pictures of Toby and Jaron...mainly because they are tall and easy to spot in a crowd and Jaron started in the front with the 6 minute milers....I didn't see Mikenna coming down the bridge with the crowd of people after them. I will have to order a race picture online of her through the company that took race pic's.
Jaron rocked it! He is going to sign up for another race this winter - The Tri-Cities 5K that takes place in February 2013 in Richland.
They all had a great time and had a good experience!
