General Conference

During conference weekend, I had the kids listen to the conference talks with clipboards/pencils/crayons, etc. I told them they could either write or draw how they felt during the talks and what stood out to them during conference. It was interesting to look at what each one of them drew or the feelings they had written down. Mikenna drew a picture of Henry B. Eyring at the podium and wrote.."Love the Savior." On the back of she drew a picture of the temple and our family and wrote "Families are Important." Brielle drew a picture of the huge organ and each time there was a song she would get up and start leading and singing. I don't have her picture of the organ...can't seem to find it anywhere. She probably hid it somewhere. Jaron wrote..."Find someone who is ill, hurt or lonely and help them." I am grateful that they are building their own testimonies as young ages. I really enjoyed conference weekend...filled my heart and spirit up for another 6 months! I was really touched by many of the talks and loved the music!
